Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1 1/3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 3/4 teaspoon Vanilla
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Chop Walnuts–set aside.
- Mix Flour and Baking Soda–set aside.
- Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat.
- Add Brown Sugar to Butter and mix well.
- Remove saucepan from heat–let cool for a couple of minutes.
- Add egg and beat for two minutes.
- Add Flour and Soda–mix until well incorporated.
- Add walnuts and Vanilla–mix well.
- Chill dough in refrigerator for about one hour.
- Form into small balls.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about ten minutes.
- Immediately remove to wire rack to cool.
